I still can vividly remember when I was just a small little kid, running around and playing with my brothers. As I was the youngest child in the family, my parents and my brothers dote on me the most. We were quite poor back then but we were living together happily.
I still can remember how nervous I was when I first stepped into the school. It was a school that my father and all my brothers studied in before. The buildings were a little old and recently, it is announced that it will be combined with another school in the neighbourhood. My father was quite sad of the merging because he held a strong relationship with the school ever since he was a primary school kid like me. He studied in the school and started working after graduation but he eventually came back to this primary school as a school bus driver.
I was brought to school everyday by my father with the other school children that he had received. Hence, I did not need to worry about my transportation. During recess time everyday, I would eat the bread that my mother put in my lunch box everyday and buy a bottle of yakult using the 50cents coin that she gave me. I was very shy at the beginning and refused to talk to any one in the class. However, as time goes by, I got to know of the other school kids and started talking and playing with them... Unfortunately, I do not get in touch with most of them now after I have graduated from the primary school...
During this period of time, I was living in a happy go lucky mood. It was during this period of time that I felt the most carefree and were enjoying myself the most. In addition, the standard of living in my family has improved great deal during this period of time. However, I had always hoped to grow up faster so that I can do many things that my brothers are able to... like staying out late and going for chalets etc... Indeed, before I knew it, I had taken the PSLE and entered my secondary school...
